Meghan Dowlen is a multifaceted band with a stage presence like no other, with a sound that makes you feel as if you’re about to embark on a long-winded adventure to find some long-lost treasure. their utilization of a full band mixed with their stage presence evoking an almost Adams Family-type vibe creates a show that leaves any act to follow DOA with a look and stylings that show they’ve put in their time to make their music theirs. Slow-driving basslines highlighted by an electric guitar that’s reminiscent of a foreign style of shoegaze help to float the Hauntingly Beautiful stylings of the lead singer atop the groovy melodies created in partnership between accenting percussion and the lovely synth lines that create an ethereal feel to a sound that could just be an ordinary band.
